INGOA Foundation
During the 2007 INGOA Business meeting a challenge was issued by a senior member of INGOA to other senior members to donate a portion of their earnings to further the enhancement of professional development for officers and warrant officers of Iowa.
This challenge has resulted in an initiative to develop a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization of the Iowa National Guard. We now have a draft set of by-law and articles for this organization as well as a call for volunteers to serve as the first board of directors for what we are calling the INGOA Foundation.
The INGOA board has approved the expenditure of funds to allow for a professional legal read of these documents and the processing fees associated with creating and registering this organization with the state of Iowa and IRS.
The Foundations Initial Trustees are: Marcus Smoot, President Dennis Deitz, Secretary/Treasurer Monica Blakley, Director Mark Zirkelbach, Director Robert Felderman, Director Dennis Hall, Director William LeVay, Director
