About the INGOA Foundation
The Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization focused on the professional and personal development of the next generation of National Guard leaders. The Foundation accomplishes this Mission by providing Grants to junior officers and warrant officers to attend the Professional Development curriculum at the INGOA State Conference and NGAUS National Conference.

Mission Statement
Support and improve readiness and capabilities of the Iowa National Guard by providing educational and professional development opportunities for Iowa National Guard personnel.

State Conference Grants
The Foundation provides Grants to junior officers to attend the Professional Development curriculum at the INGOA State Conference. A total of 24 Grants were awarded to junior officers to attend the April 2016 Conference curriculum held at the Des Moines Airport Holiday Inn.

National Conference Grants
The Foundation provides Grants to junior officers to attend the Professional Development curriculum at the NGAUS National Conference. A total of 5 Foundation Grants were awarded to junior officers to attend the September 2016 Conference curriculum held in Baltimore, Maryland. Two additional officers were funded by the National Guard Bureau. The seven attendees to the National Conference were:
