2009 NGAUS Information
2009 - 131st NGAUS Conference Wrap Up Last years NGAUS Conference was in Nashville Tennessee. All in attendance said that it was the best conference in years. We had 61 attendees this year, certainly the most in many many years. The conference was held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center. The hotel accommodated over 3,400 delegates, vendors and guests, all under one roof. This year six Company Grade Officers were sponsored to attend the National Conference. Five were sponsored by the Adjutant General and one by the Iowa National Guard Officers Foundation. All attended the traditional conference activities to include a host of fantastic Officer Professional Development sessions.

Past Conferences:
2008 The 2008 NGAUS Conference was in Baltimore, MD. As usual we had another great year and good representation from the Iowa Delegation. Downtown Baltimore proved to be an excellent location with plenty of things to do and see around the Inner Harbor. Again this year 5 Company Grade Officers were sponsored to attend the National Conference. All attended the traditional conference activities to include a host of fantastic Officer Professional Development sessions and a Staff Ride to Gettysburg National Military Park, Gettysburg, PA.

2007 - 129th NGAUS Conference Wrap Up The 2007 Conference was in San Juan, PR. As the conferences in the past, this too was an outstanding conference. The conference was well planned, the scenery was beautiful and the hotel was very nice. This year INGOA and NGAUS sponsored 5 junior officers and warrants to attend the national conference.

Below are the AARs from two Company Grade officers that were sponsored to attend the 129th NGAUS General Conference.
2006 The 2006 Conference was in Albuquerque, NM. It was a great conference again. LA (New Orleans) was supposed to host the 2006 conference but due to Hurricane Katrina, that had to be cancelled and NM stepped up to the plate and executed in a year what normally takes 3 to 4 years of planning.
